Abstract

This manuscript is a twelfth-century glossed copy of St. Paul's Epistles, with the glossa ordinaria of Walahfrid Strabo and the glossa interlinearis of Anselm of Laon.

Support: Parchment; Extent: i+177+i; 260 x 178 mm bound to 269 x 195 mm; Foliation: Foliated in pencil on upper right recto, for the most part only on the first leaf of each quire of 8; last leaf foliated in ink on lower right recto; Collation: 1-21 (8), 22 (9, +9)

Layout

One column of twenty-one lines, hard-point ruling, frame-ruled; significant interlinear and marginal glossing in multiple hands; additional marginal notes in dry-point throughout
