Folios 19 and 80-82 are later inserts. They do not contain text but appear to have been added at the time the manuscript was bound but before it was paginated.

Rubricated, with paragraph markers and capitals stroked in red ink; simple red initials and some section headings decorated with grotesque faces (for example, f. 148v).

18th-century[?] French[?] morocco over pasteboard, with 19th-century rebacking. Upper and lower covers each have 4 golden circular bosses decorated with quatrefoil. Center of upper cover has gold-stamped crown; center of lower cover has gold-stamped fleur-de-lis. Fleurs-de-lis stamped in gold on each corner of both covers and worked into the spine. Cover pulling away; front hinge completely detached; lower part of spine missing; flyleaves loose.
