Written in 22 long lines; frame-ruled in ink.

Script

Written in a Gothic cursive script.

Decoration

4-line illuminated initial (f. 1r), gold letter on a red square decorated with gray (once silver?) vines and flowers.

Title supplied by cataloger.

The date of the order's founding, 1469, appears on f. 33v; on the same page, a slightly later note refers to the position of the prévost maistre des ceremonies, which was instituted in 1476.

f. 1r: "[text] Loys par la grace de dieu roy de France. Savoir faisonz a touz presens et advenir ..."
